Recommended Motion:

I move the Board of Education to approve the award to Corrigan Moving Systems in the amount of $132,460.00, to be paid from the Bond Fund, as presented.

Background Information:

Received 3 bids and recommending to approve for the lowest bidder to specification. Bid breaks down as follows:

 

  • Corrigan Moving Systems (BHS West Wing, less chemical storage) $77,950.00
  • Corrigan Moving Systems (Transportation offices only)   $13,500.00
  • Corrigan Moving Systems (Transportation garage pods & material only) $28,660.00
  • Additional Insurance for $100k Coverage   $350.00     
  • District Project Contingency (10% of Physical Move Cost)   $12,000.00           
  • Total Project Amount       $132,460.00
