Background Information:
The BHHS Debate Team had an incredible inaugural season with their first tournament with 66 competitors in their division the team received 4 of the top 10 Individual Speaker Awards. The team earned several top awards including first place at the Berkley High School Tournament from partners Zuhair Sibai and Mihir Shah along with an individual speaker first-place award for Maya Stojkovic. At the MSU Debate Tournament, the team of Lucai-Sample and Skilton took first place, the team of Patel and Mikael Sparkes earned second place, and the second place individual speaker award went to Gia Walvekar. Congratulations to all the students!
